So I guess we educators are capable of seeing the value of games, simulations & social media and that we can meaningfully incorporate them into our curriculum....however, Not sure about the authors' assessment of reality. Apparently there are 2 worlds with a huge gap between which we educators have a responsibility to bridge. Maybe so. Per usual, moderation in all things at all times is a good dictum. Sure would would like to see that dictum applied by all stakeholders. Uh, where are the parents of these boys and girls who are allowing, or condoning, if the authors' stats are valid, video game playing to the tune of 23 & 12 hours, respectively, per week? Bet those urchins are in optimum physical condition. Yea blogs!
